The Knight King lay ravaged by three centuries of battling demons in another realm to defend Earth. Yet he did not come back alone.
Vowing to protect Earth though it cost his life, the Knight King left for the demon world. After vanquishing innumerable fiends, he grew nigh invincible. Moreover, through honing combat senses in decades of bloodshed, he unlocked skills formidable as magic spells.
One fateful day, the Knight King infiltrated the demon king’s stronghold. A fierce duel ensued; the Knight King narrowly won, but at the price of dire wounds. As death neared, a young god who was held captive there begged the Knight King to free them.
The god warned that if the Knight King died, demons would flood Earth seeking vengeance. So the god offered to heal the Knight King and lend their power in exchange for liberation and partnership. The Knight King agreed.
Restored by the god’s power, the Knight King broke free with his new ally. Safe in Earth, the Knight King was disturbed that 300 years had passed in mere days there. Though overjoyed at his return, people feared the god at his side.
To prove the god’s goodwill, the Knight King and god extinguished emerging demon hordes together. Through fighting side by side, the god and Knight King grew inseparable. The god chose to stay and guard Earth rather than return to the heavens.
The Knight King and god’s legend spread across Earth. Their unrivaled teamwork in overcoming mortal dangers and transcending distrust to forge an unbreakable bond gave humanity courage against all adversity. And so the Knight King and god remain eternal guardians of Earth.
