I read the manga, enjoyed it.
And then I thought. there is a connection between Mario Minakami and Tenge Dampe of Tomorrow Joe
Tenge Dampe is also a one-eyed former boxer who didn’t become world champion, because of his eye. Mario is the same story. Tange Dampey is actually Mario Minakami (either in another reality or he is) Though not age-matched, it’s so similar. Then in Rainbow and Joe, the characters, plot, setting are similar. The two Mammoths, the girl, the prison, the championship belt. In fact, if you think about it, that’s how it is. The Rainbow manga and the Joe anime are two masterpieces in sports.
THANKS FOR AAAAALLLLLLLLL
