Nurarihyon no Mago - Chapter 42

See…. Slowly the author is building up Rikuo/Churara ship. I’m re-reading this manga for idk how many times now (I just like it) and I keep on feeling that Churara doesn’t have any romantic feelings for Rikuo but pure loyalty as a subordinate. Even night Rikuo doesn’t have feelings for Kana and only day time Rikuo had a crush on her but not to the extent of deep love.

Well plot like this is normal so I’m not gonna say more, just wanna appreciate how the author build romance or possible ships here. Night Rikuo clearly doesn’t like anyone but his charisma makes the girls go swooooon by him, Kanna and Tsurara as the examples but I think he is more in the Churara than Kana, both night and day. There are scene in the manga that night Rikuo do things for Tsurara like picking her up from her part time job and the day time Rikuo almost kiss her in the storage. There are more moments between them in the manga that made me ship them hard than Kana ok.
