Oh the poor man, he is from the future of the novel. And he was constantly raped by Jellard in the novel, under the guise of an “obsessive love”. True, the novel says he resigned himself to it and they eventually fell in love, but that sounds like dubcon at best and not true consent. I hope he can talk to Veillyn properly and avert the events of the novel without anyone going full villain. I mean I get wanting revenge, but this is before anyone does anything wrong (well, except for Veillyn’s abusive family, and Archduke Liesenstein cheating on his wife) so it isn’t fair to punish someone for something they haven’t done yet…
